About AIDAN

I have been able to gain industry experience by becoming a Functionality QA Tester at SEGA Europe. My extensive knowledge of game design that is exhibited on my portfolio enabled me to successfully ensure a polished final game product. This highly disciplined role, that required an analytical and methodical approach to playing video games, allowed me to further my knowledge of the game production cycle.

As a graduate of Brunel University, with a First-Class Honours in Game Design, I have a particular interest in World Design, the creation of Game Design Documents and Quality Assurance. Throughout my time at university, I have constantly developed a wide variety of skills, applicable to the industry, which include: learning game creation software, knowledge in fundamental game design rules, along with written and verbal communication skills, as well as extensive knowledge of game theory. As recognition of my expertise, I was awarded the University Prize for Social Sciences, Media, and Communications (Received by the student with the best overall average mark at the end of their programme).

Throughout my portfolio, I demonstrate my professionalism through a diverse assortment of efficiently produced documents and creative game prototypes. Although certain documents were created based on university briefs, I went above and beyond the requirement for any of the tasks in order to produce only the highest quality product.

Outside of my studies, I consume a variety of different media, such as anime, videogames, and manga, to further my knowledge and formulate novel concepts to use in my own work. I am an avid gymgoer, participating in numerous gym sessions a week.
